About Me

About Me

I am a 25 year old medical student who grew up south of the Mason-Dixon (ya'll) and is now living in the best city in the world, NYC. I've spent a significant amount of my 20s in libraries or other places conducive to studying. When not hitting the books, I used to play tennis (Violent Violets -- go NYU!) and now run (an activity I never thought I'd like). When not studying or running, I like to chill with my fam (holla to all the Smiths), read, shop, babysit (shout out to "my kids!"), watch gymnastics on youtube, get manicures/pedicures while reading gossip magazines (hopefully with my awesome sister in tow), and watch WWII documentaries on the history channel.

In the future, I hope to pursue a career in OB/GYN, qualify for the Boston Marathon, learn to cook (at the very least pancakes), take my WWII trip, and become an overall successful physician, mom (husband TBD), and person who made a difference to someone else. At least that's my hope...

I am reticent in starting this blog, but I like reading other blogs so I thought maybe people would enjoy reading the random goings on inside my head. Maybe. Maybe not. You decide. Comment. Let me know.
